At The Lemon Tree Candle Company, we want you to shop with confidence. We take great care in preparing and dispatching our handmade products and understand that occasionally you may need to change or cancel an order.

Purchase Options

All products available through our website are offered as one-time purchases. Payment is taken securely at checkout using the payment methods displayed.

Once your order has been placed, you will receive an order confirmation by email.

Cancelling an Order Before Dispatch

If you need to cancel or amend your order, please contact us as soon as possible at hello@lemontreecandles.co.uk, quoting your order number.

We will always do our best to accommodate your request. However, as we aim to process orders promptly, we cannot guarantee that changes can be made before dispatch.

If your order has already been dispatched, you can follow our returns procedure below.

Your Right to Cancel

Under UK consumer law, you normally have the right to cancel an online purchase within 14 days of receiving your goods, without giving a reason.

To exercise this right, simply email hello@lemontreecandles.co.uk within 14 days of delivery, stating your order number and that you wish to cancel.

You then have a further 14 days to return the goods to us.

We also offer an extended 30-day returns policy for eligible unused products, as detailed in our Returns Policy.

Returns and Refunds

If you change your mind, you will normally be responsible for the cost of returning the products. We recommend obtaining proof of postage.

Products should be packaged securely to prevent damage during their return journey.

Where applicable, refunds will include the original standard delivery charge when the entire order is cancelled within the statutory cancellation period.

Refunds will be made to your original payment method within 14 days of receiving your returned goods or satisfactory evidence that they have been sent back, whichever is earlier.

If goods have been handled beyond what is reasonably necessary to inspect them, we may make a deduction for any resulting reduction in their value.

Certain products, including personalised items and sealed hygiene products once unsealed, may be exempt from the statutory cancellation right.

Damaged, Faulty or Incorrect Items

If your order arrives damaged, faulty or incorrect, please contact us at hello@lemontreecandles.co.uk with your order number and, where possible, photographs of the products and packaging.

We will work with you to resolve the issue promptly through a replacement, refund or other appropriate solution.

Your statutory consumer rights are not affected by this policy.
